About
I've been in the working world for about 10 years now or 1/3 of my life... I've seen the ups and downs of the corporate lifestyle and as a serial "multipotentialite" I've spent years trying to find my true potential and perfect my growth. I've come to realization after realization that growth never stops and there is no top of the mountain. I've tried so many tactics to find my potential and found the only true way is to be fulfilled is to be grateful for what has come into or gone out of my life.
Life is about balance. It's about figuring out what causes you to spiral out of balance or what keeps you in balance. I'm not here to preach a zen life or a specific diet or lifestyle however optimizing my life based on my what my intuition is telling me has worked. I've experienced a ton in my life from a loss of a parent, uncles and friends to joys of weddings, nieces/nephew, playing music in front of large crowds and exploring the world. I've taken yoga class, boxing, played ultimate frisbee, comedy writing, strengths finder tests, digital marketing courses, improv classes, meditation, therapy, read books, listened to podcasts, seen amazing concerts, traveled to India, Ireland, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Costa Rica... all over the US - Chicago, Austin, New Orleans, Denver, Portland, Seattle, New England, San Fransisco, Yosemite, Grand Canyon and many more. All with the hopes of having an "Ah ha" moment or a life changing experience. And even after all of this I'm still having difficulty feeling fulfilled and it's because I haven't found my purpose. Not passion... I'm passionate about a lot of things but purpose.
I'm building this portfolio of a well-rounded person to serve something larger then myself. This allows me to share my experiences about things I'm passionate about in hopes to connect and inspire others. This blog isn't for you if you are looking for someone to tell you the answers. It's meant to give perspective of a "specialized" generalist of life and bring some sense of gratitude, laughter, deep thought to provoke a change in you.
